Why rebuild?

We suggest rebuilding instead of buying new because most of the parts in your transmission are still good and our rebuilds will last as long and perform as well as a new transmission would.  The main reason is that the rebuild will fit back in your boat without changing anything.  Most newer transmissions have slight changes to length, drop, angle, which  could lead to having to relocate engine, tanks, etc.  Also a rebuild is usually half the cost of new.
